Strawberries & Creem festival takes place across a 3-day weekend, on Friday 17th, Saturday 18th, and Sunday 19th June 2022.
Where does Strawberries & Creem take place?
We return to our new home, the beautiful Childerley Orchard (the same venue as 2021's edition), for a second year running. Located just minutes outside of Cambridge city centre, and close to Cambridge North train station, the site is situated around an ancient orchard in the heart of the stunning Cambridgeshire countryside.
What are the opening times?
Friday 17 June – 13:00 (campers) & 15:00 (main arena) until 23:00
Saturday 18 June – 12:00 until 23:00 (campsite stage open late)
Sunday 19 June – 12:00 until 23:00 (campsite stage open late)
Is there on-site camping at the festival?
Yes! You can stay over on-site in our comfy campsite, so you don’t miss a minute of action. Bring your own tent or book a pre-pitched one. Party under the stars til’ late with DJs at our exclusive After Dark stage in the Orchard. Full information on camping / glamping here.
What am I allowed to bring on site?
Unopened, empty water bottles can be brought in and filled at one of our drinking points at the festival.
This is not a seated event. For everybody's safety and enjoyment, you may bring chairs and blankets, but these cannot be used in the area immediately around the Main Stage. Our stewards may at their discretion ask customers to reduce the size of their seating area, or to pack away chairs and blankets, if they feel they are causing an obstruction. Limited seating can be found around our bar and food outlets across the site for resting your legs!
Bags larger than A4 size are not permitted. We understand that some families with children will need to bring in extra supplies – this will be at the discretion of security, who will make reasonable allowances.
No food or drink can be brought into the festival. We have a wide and varied choice of bars and street food traders supplying at the festival. For exemptions, please email us at info@strawberriesandcreem.com.

Campsite FAQs + Terms
You cannot drive into the campsites at any time due to fire regulations, unless in a live-in vehicle.
Distance is 5-7 minutes walk from shuttle bus to campsite. It is a flat grass ground, so suitable for wheelchairs.
No campfires or BBQs or stoves permitted. Hot water may be available from the vendors on the campsite.
You can bring small amounts of food and drinks. Please limit your luggage.
Prohibited items – listed on our Terms & Conditions here – also apply to the campsite.
Please check through these Ts & Cs. As camping ticket holders, you will be subject to the same entry requirements / conditions.
Limits of alcohol for campers: 18 cans / 1 litre of spirits or wine in a plastic bottle (per person). Drinks must stay in the campsite, and can't be taken into main arena. There will be searches on entry to the arena.
The main site will not be accessible after 11pm. All entertainment will be available in our specific After Dark area connected to the campsite (in the Orchard zone) – running until 2am on Friday and Saturday nights, and 12.30am on Sunday.
24 hour security, medical and welfare available.
Food concessions will be open until 2am. Convenience store will be open for all your camping and weekend requirements. Breakfast starts from 8am with a wide variety of hot and cold/sweet and savoury on offer.
Please consider the environment when disposing of waste. Please use our recycling bins across the site, or where possible take your rubbish home.
Your weekend camping pass allows you to return to campsite through the day. Searches will take place on entering the main arena from the campsite.

How do I get to Strawberries & Creem?
By Coach – Book a day return coach package with Big Green Coach (full details below). Drops you off and picks you up at the gates.
By Car – Drive to Bourn Airfield (postcode: CB23 2TQ), where there is a secure car park, then it's a short shuttle bus ride to the festival site (included in the ticket). Everyone must arrive by shuttle bus. No one is allowed to drive directly to the festival site, unless you've booked Blue Badge parking or are arriving on a Big Green Coach..
By Taxi – Drop-off and pick-up spots are at Bourn Airfield and Cambridge North station. Taxis will only drop off pre-event and pick up post-event from these locations.
By Train – The nearest station is Cambridge North, so head there to can catch a shuttle bus to the site (A return shuttle bus is included in the ticket).
No access on Foot - There is no pedestrian access to the site as the surrounding roads are unsuitable for pedestrians.
Are there festival coach services running again?
Yes! Big Green Coach are back for 2022 as our Official Travel Partner, running Day Return Coach Services.
No pricey hotels. No shuttle bus. No leaving early for the last train home. Leave the car at home, party all day, and sleep on the way back!
All coaches drop you inside the festival gates before music starts and will get you home when the action is over. You won’t miss a thing!

ACCESSIBILITY APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED
Blue Badge parking is available on the festival site, and this must be pre-booked in advance. Please contact us on accesibility@strawberriesandcreem.com to book your spot. You must display your Blue Badge when you park.
There will be a limited-capacity viewing platform in the Main Arena, which can be used with/under staff supervision.
Accessible toilets are available on the festival site.
Assistance dogs are welcome at Strawberries & Creem. There are water points and bins located throughout the arena and campsites to ensure you can care for your dog’s welfare during the festival.
If you require any of the above, or have any additional needs, please drop us an email on accessibility@strawberriesandcreem.com and we’ll be very happy to help however we can – to make your festival experience as easy and enjoyable as possible.

SHUTTLE BUSES
Everyone must arrive at the festival on a shuttle bus operated by us, from one of our transport hubs – Cambridge North train station and Bourn Airfield car park – unless you have Blue Badge parking (see accessibility info), or you arrive on a Big Green Coach (which drops you off directly at the gates to the festival site).
Return shuttle bus is included in your festival ticket. These buses will ferry you to/from the festival site to/from our transport hubs, ensuring a smooth entry and exit. Shuttle buses start running an hour before opening time each day.
LAST BUS TO THE FESTIVAL IS 16:00 on Saturday and Sunday. The last bus back to the transport hubs is at MIDNIGHT on each day.

Please access the car park via Wellington Way, just off St Neots Road. There is no access from Bourn Market / Broadway side.
TRAINS
Get the train to Cambridge North station, and hop on our FREE shuttle bus service to/from the festival site. The station is served by regular trains from Cambridge (5 mins), London (50-60 mins), Ely (10-15 mins), and more. Also easily accessible via public bus routes.

LOCAL TAXIS
We are working closely with local taxi companies, such as Panther Taxis , to ensure they have plenty of cars heading to and from the festival.
Both our transport hubs – Cambridge North and Bourn Airfield – have facilities for pick up / drop off. Local taxi companies are aware of our travel plans, and will only make drop-offs and post-festival pick-ups from these two locations. Where possible, please arrange your taxis to/from Cambridge North, as this makes for a quicker pick-up and journey time.
There is NO pedestrian access to the festival site, and the roads around the site are not suitable for pedestrians
LOCAL BUSES
Festival shuttle buses circulate continuously from BOURN AIRFIELD car park (CB23 2TQ) and CAMBRIDGE NORTH train station from 11:00 – approximately every 20 minutes – to/from the festival site.
Shuttle buses will start heading back from the site at 21:00. Last shuttle bus service at the end of the festival will be at MIDNIGHT.
Dedicated LOCAL BUSES will also operate regularly from 11:00, running journeys into the festival site until 16:00 – with return journeys leaving the site starting at 21:15.
Last local bus service at the end of the festival will be at 23:15.
